Book Tip

Microsoft is building out its online book search service called Live Search Books. It enables rights holders (usually authors or publishers) to submit titles for inclusion in the Microsoft index for free. When a user locates your book through Live Search, they'll be able to preview as much of the book's content as you specify as well as see a link to your website, your logo, and retailers selling your book. Sign up at publisher.live.com for this free marketing opportunity.

The 2008 Publishing University is May 27-29 in Los Angeles, California. It immediately precedes Book Expo America, which is also held in Los Angeles this year.
