In the last issue I mentioned Google Analytics, a free tool to monitor your website traffic. Do you know about Google Alerts? Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (Web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic. For example, you can enter your name and/or company name to see where you appear. Learn more by clicking here.

Book Tip

Always keep copies of the book you have written in your automobile. You never know when an opportunity for a sale will arise! Also consider giving away some copies to create a buzz. More people talking about your book will ultimately increase sales.

Tidbit

Remember to let others know you are available to speak on your subject matter. I recently spoke on book design and production for a special edition of Senior Showcase. Comcast cable subscribers can view the segment on December 4, 4:00 p.m., channel 21; December 10, 7:00 p.m., channel 11; and December 12, 2:00 p.m., channel 21.
