Book Tip

The spine of a book is the part that normally faces out on a bookshelf. The spine width is determined by the weight of the paper and the number of pages in your book. Paper varies among book printers, so if you’re planning to have your book printed by more than one printer (for example, an offset run of 1000 and Amazon CreateSpace’s print-on-demand), then the cover file will need to be adjusted to the correct spine width for each printer.
