Marketing Tip

Several months ago I was at a morning meeting where the speaker started by dully stating, “I’m so excited to be here.” The problem was that he didn’t show any excitement or even a tiny bit of enthusiasm. He didn’t smile when he said it and he looked pained to be up that early! His statement struck me as humorous and I still wonder why he said it. I don’t think he was trying to be sarcastic.

Make sure your body is in sync with what you’re saying so your audience believes you!

Book Tip

When you’re picking a title for your book remember to keep it short and descriptive. Bookstore databases have a limited number of characters and you don’t want your title or subtitle truncated before people know what your book is about!

Tidbit

Outgoing and confident are attributes suggested by the deep, spicy red of Chili Pepper (Pantone 19-1557), Pantone’s color of the year for 2007.
