Marketing Tip

Now is the time to be marketing your book. You haven't started writing it? Start a blog to gain a loyal following. You're almost finished? Send out a press release with the publication date. It's been out for a year? Work on tying an aspect of your book to a current event for additional publicity.

Marketing is a continuous process, and should be viewed that way. Focus on marketing and uncover new opportunities to promote yourself and your work.

Book Tip

When it comes to book design, whatever you choose to do, do it consistently throughout your book. The design should be in the background, pleasing and guiding the reader without his or her awareness. The design should not distract from your words.
