Marketing Tip

Failure is more likely caused by obscurity than copyright infringement. This applies to authors, musicians, and small businesses. Therefore, I love it when people break "the rules" in the name of marketing. I was recently at a concert when instead of the usual copyright restriction message the band announced, "Go ahead and take pictures, videotape, and record this as long as you share it on your Facebook, YouTube, and other accounts." Book Tip

Are you writing more than one book? I suggest cohesive cover designs that visually state these books are by the same author. For an example, look at the covers of Malcolm Gladwell's books. By thinking ahead and building your brand, you enhance your marketing efforts.
